Infinite Campus: passwor d  Reset

As we transition into a new year, taking time to reset passwords are important best practices towards maintaining a secure platform. Infinite Campus will implement a reset password to all of their CHS student accounts on Wednesday, December 17. This reset will force all users to align the new password to any device that might have them cached in the memory. Whether you are using your Chromebook, desktop, tablet, or mobile device- typing in the new password will be asked of you. Failing to do so will result in your account being disabled due to unsuccessful login attempts by those devices.

Passwords are a first line of protection against any unauthorized access into your accounts. A strong password isn’t just about one password, it’s important that you guarantee strong passwords for each account that you use at school, home, and your personal devices.

To be able to create a strong password, you should be aware of the criteria to create make one:

  • A strong password must be at least 8 characters long.
  • It should not contain any of your personal information—specifically your real name, user name, or even student ID.
  • It must be very unique from your previously used passwords.
  • It should not contain any word spelled completely.
  • It should contain characters from the four primary categories, including: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and characters.
Examples include:
