11/3/2014 0 Comments This week @ChardonHSGood Morning,
This is an exciting week for Chardon High School. Our football team, marching band, and cheerleaders are gearing up for the first round of the OHSAA State Play-offs vs. St. Vincent St. Mary H.S., our student production of Arsenic and Old Lace will run on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and our AC4P (Actively Caring for People) group has a number of activities planned for our students. On Wednesday, we will have a short assembly at 2:00, led by Shane McCarty, a current Ph.D. candidate at Virginia Tech. Shane was a pioneer of the AC4P concept at V.T. and has studied the effects of “actively caring” and how it can be developed into a culture of compassion. This movement has been an essential ingredient to the over-all healing our children and staff has shared for several years. Our AC4P group has spread its message with other schools in Ohio and beyond. After Shane’s presentation and our recognition of Students of the Month, we will take a group photo of our school. Any student that wishes to participate should wear red in support of the community at Marysville-Pilchuck HS in Washington. We want to let them know we care and are thinking about them. Have a great week and Go Toppers!!! Respectfully, Mr. Fetchik
